USWNT 2023 Schedule Ahead of Women’s World Cup: How to Watch, TV Streaming Coverage
The USWNT won two international friendly matches to kick off the year, beating New Zealand twice by a combined nine goals at the end of January. The matches were played at Eden Park in Auckland and Sky Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand—both of which are match sites for the upcoming 2023 FIFA World Cup.
Led by coach Vlatko Andonovski, the USWNT returned in February for another stint of international play at the 2023 SheBelieves Cup, with the United States hosting fellow World Cup participants Brazil, Canada and Japan for the first games on home soil of the year. The USWNT won the Cup with a win over Brazil to go 3–0, while each of the other three teams finished 2–1.
The USWNT will also play two international friendlies against the Republic of Ireland at the Q2 Stadium in Austin.
The USA punched its ticket to this year’s World Cup with a semifinal qualification at the 2022 Concacaf W Championship in July. Here’s a look at the schedule leading up to this summer, when the women’s national team will try to go for a third-straight World Cup title.
